    It's always kind of funny to me when people list agender and non-binary as two separate categories

    Non-binary means "neither strictly male nor strictly female". It's the widest possible umbrella term for gender identities

    What makes people think that being agender does not fall under that umbrella

    mandatory followup post to make it clear that I'm not trying to police anyone's identity. If you label yourself agender but not non-binary, that's perfectly fine by me.

    @schratze my best guess is that for some finicky people the term nonbinary implies that you *have* gender, it’s just not one of the big two.
