Just thinking about the period when it was easy to get a working copy of Photoshop, and fairly easy to learn it, and the fledgling internet was full of people outdoing each other with humorous and clever picture edits. Creativity battles were epic and popular! Now we have no-effort slop, and crude stick figure line drawings for memes. Used to be when I wanted to make a visual pun, I could photoshop it well in a matter of minutes. Now, even if I went to the considerable difficulty of making a good one, everyone would assume I just had the world-killing robot do it for me.

A reminder for iPhone users. If you download a new app and don’t want Apple “Intelligence” “learning” from you, check in settings to make sure that Apple Intelligence is turned off for each and every app. I forgot to do this when downloading some apps for travel, and lo and behold Apple Intelligence was turned on for all of them, even though I have it turned off in my general settings. #Apple #Apps #SickAndTiredOfThisGarbage
