I have a tax rebate. Most of it will go back into retirement savings and some of it just bought a rather nice refurb Thinkpad but I'd like to buy myself something. I never buy myself stuff. Something fun and geeky. Calling on Mastodon for ideas. 😀

@jannem thanks but learning the guitar many years ago was how I discovered I had early-onset arthritis. The only instrument I could play nowadays would be a theremin.... but wait, that's an idea 😉

Yes, there are instruments that don't need a lot of finger dexterity. But I guess if you were really into it you'd have gotten something already.
Something like a bicycle then? Get out and about. Combine with the camera idea - I go out on my bike with camera in hand whenever I have some alone-time.
@jannem already have two bikes, a leisure one and an e-bike for commuting, but good ideas. I also have a kick-scooter that I rarely use. 🙁
