If you are a small time publisher that does newsletters, whats your go-to program? OSS preferred. I've been using MS Publisher since I was in high school.
I've been doing a club newsletter for 3-4 years using it, but with plans on rebuilding my computer at home to Linux, Publisher goes away. Granted, MS hasn't touched it in years so it's free of all the AI junk, and still just works how I expect it to.
The thing that I have heard most frequently suggested for desktop publishing for the small OSes is scribus.

Though inkscape has multi page support now too, so might be usable.
I've only used inkscape, and that was for making science paper figures.

@alienghic I snagged Scribus last night. I read a bunch of reviews saying it was really complex compared to the relatively easy to use Publisher. I've not installed yet, so we'll see how well that plays out. The newsletter gets published this weekend 😉
I forgot about Inkscape, but thought it was a graphics program so that's probably why. I'll check that out too
Inkscape is mostly a graphics program, but it has grown enough features over the years, that it might be capable of doing light desktop publishing now.
