I really wonder how many of these AI models could "escape confinement" if confinement was designed by someone competent.

In trying to compare #VeilId and #i2p it seems like they're pretty similar and much of the difference is one is in rust and the other java.
veilid's documentation advertises being able to directly use a DHT and it claims to support recovery of the complex connection for mobile clients which i2p doesn't mention.
i2p seems to have more ways for other applications to opening streams over i2p.
Am I interpreting their docs reasonably?

USB C ports often wear out and become loose and have difficulty holding a cable. It kind makes you miss the days of thumbscrew connectors like VGA or external SCSI cables.
Of the modern cables I think display port is my favorite. I wish we had that as the universal plug.

Microsoft is shutting down the EWS service provided by O365 that my gnome evolution client is currently to get my work email
I tried to use the new Microsoft 365 API but thanks to OAUTH2 my client has to be approved by my organization. And they're bothered that gnome accounts asks for mail, calendar, tasks, and files permissions.
I don't like this world where organizations get to control what clients you use to read email.
And also I think it's ironic to care about security if you're using a microsoft product.
To me microsoft's longstanding history of getting hacked means your organization's data has already been leaked by deciding to outsource it to microsoft.

The Canadian forest fires were made much more severe because of global warming. The polar regions have been heating up faster, the warmer air can hold more water, so droughts start more quickly and become more severe.
It is not Canada that should be sanctioned it is the world oil industry. Also the oil industry is currently trying to get liability protection passed because they know the steadily increasing climate disasters are their fault and they are afraid of being sued for damage, because paying for the damage they have caused will bankrupt them.
All I can say is the sooner we stop burning fossil fuels the sooner the climate stops becoming more destructive to human civilization.
Block the Ohio Senators bill, and instead pass legislation that allows suing the worlds oil industries for the damage they have done.
Also figure out how to get the American car companies to make smaller electric vehicles, or let them go out of business as China completely out competes them.
