    Happy Monday, folks.

I finished the Project Hail Mary movie last night and thought it was very good. I really, really enjoyed the book! I may even re-read it this winter.

Now I'm reading Into Thin Air which for some reason I've never read. I'm enjoying it so far and find Krakauer to be a good writer.

@bud_t I loved “Thin Air”. It’s been on the “old friends” shelf for a number of years and is one of the few books that both my daughter and son still find special and bring up to me for periodic discussion.

@bud_t Into Thin Air is amazing. I had the extra experience of reading some of the most interesting examples of the extra low pressure storm air's effects on climbers while on a turbulent flight (some very ouch but fascinating stuff), very aware that we were in a pressurized aluminum can in thin air ourselves.

@bud_t I don’t know if you can still find it but the TV show “Everest: Beyond The Limit” has some amazing footage of Everest climbs and serves as an excellent reminder of why climbing Everest will always be a big old NOPE for me.

@bud_t I liked the project Hail Mary book and movie, too! In fact, I'm ready to rewatch the movie; is it streaming yet?

I started watching cemetery Road on Apple TV a while back and put it aside after the first episode. I just finished reading the audiobook and think I might dive back in to the TV show. I know there are differences and like to explore them while the book is still fresh in my mind.

@bud_t I'm not using Amazon these days to stream at all. But sometimes it's available on Apple as a rental. I'll check there tonight. Thanks.
