If you use Bumble I'd recommend finding a different dating service and deleting your prior data if you don't use it now, as it sounds likely it is being purchased for AI training data.
"Dating app Bumble has been bought for $1.3bn (£980m) in what the new owners called "a bet on the future of humanity"."
@GossiTheDog Is there any dating app that doesn't use dark patterns or harvest user data? Something like the Fediverse but for dates?
@thepwnicorn @GossiTheDog
There cant be a good dating app.
There is no way of making a good one.
Go outside, meet people, organize your neighbarhood, have fun, do sports,...
@ejim @thepwnicorn @GossiTheDog why is doing sport the answer to everything?
Oct 14, 2026, 7:07 AM@Vonskinnback @ejim @thepwnicorn @GossiTheDog Because that was, of course, the entirety of the list provided. "Do sports." There was absolutely nothing else listed. Nope. Not a single other word.
🙄
@GossiTheDog I continue to be surprised AI hasn’t catfished anybody yet.

@ejim did you ever reality before?
@malteengeler yeah, went outside and approached and got approached by woman. Got dates, but sadly nothing serious, but casual and a ONS.
Yeah, saying "Hi, you $compliment + what are you doing?" or opening a conversation indirectly is not always easy and I don't like it that much, since your not sure if the other person would be open to date (Im not sad about it, if that's the case, we still had an awesome convo, fun, maybe even an exchange of ideas and some ask for my number to be friends)
