...perhaps it was due to all the existing crowdcube investors nearly rioting because the documents explicitly stated they were raising money so their early VC investors could cash out.

Sep 24, 2026, 11:37 AM@jonty I mean, I'll admit I'm a bit rubbish at reading company accounts, but how long can £6.45Mn cash in the bank last when you're running at a £12.2Mn loss - which was worse than the £10.6Mn loss in 2024.
Did that £6.39Mn share issue keep their head above water? Surely, that's a terrible investment. Who's giving them all this money?

You'd say once the globe was split up by 3x3 squares, and names were generated for all of them, that's it?
@jonty What I love about this is how quickly the satellite images update. I just checked my off-grid house and it shows the work we were doing for the boardwalk this past summer

@jonty I just don't get it. Why would anyone give them another £6m quid last year? They have 85 people working, but a turnover of barely £1.1m (down 50% year-on-year) and running at a loss of £12m last year.
But they still attract investors?
If they were selling £10 notes for a quid, they'd be closer to profitability.
