I should have checked first, this quote commonly attributed to Keynes turns out to probably not have been from him

Glyphglyph@mastodon.socialOct 23, 2026, 8:55 PM@jalefkowit he is really an avatar of this kind of stupid. like, even david brooks will have these flashes of lucidity. josh barro is at least correct about mayonnaise. and bret stephens & ross douthat are clearly agents of a malevolent spiritual force who don’t care if what they say makes sense, and one may thus ignore their blather. but yglesias is just determinedly *wrong* in a smarmy self-important way so perfectly he is like an infohazard
