The problem with our trains is not that they don't go fast enough, the problem is that we are attempting to substitute rapid intercity #transit for smarter ways of living that don't require #transportation.
It is far less costly and far more efficient, in both financial and #environmental concerns, to simply build better #cities than it is to move people between them. #urbanism
