Fans across the world mourn the passing of a true and irreplaceable legend. As Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Patrick Stewart took the starship Enterprise to places it had never gone before, and he inspired a whole next generation of star-gazers who looked longingly ahead to a brighter future for all humanity. Our hearts are heavy, indeed. Rest in the heavens, Captain.
@georgetakei OMG no 😭
@georgetakei RIP Captain. 🫡
Enterprise staff roster is getting thin..
@georgetakei
I can‘t stop the tears. 🖤😢
🥺🕯️🥀
@georgetakei fuck
@georgetakei Well said, Uncle George. To lose both Walter Koenig and Patrick Stewart, so close together... I cannot dry my tears. All I can do right now is grieve, and love.
Oct 29, 2026, 8:15 PM@georgetakei @Sir_Osis_of_Liver Another sad day!
🕯️🥺
@georgetakei make it so
All in all, resistance was futile 😕
Even as a child in the early 90s I was fascinated by the characters he played.
And he played the flute like no one else
@georgetakei
So sad 😢
Patricks roles be it professor or captain has always been that of an wise and emphatic leader. One that you could see behind you in your moment of doubt nodding and encouraging you with simple:
"Make it so".
Thank you professor! Farewell captain!
@georgetakei Goodbye, Captain and safe travels 💔

By all we saw or knew of him, he was also a good man.
@georgetakei 🕯️🖤
@georgetakei Oh,I hear that Patrick has been a good role model to many and he has been the source of knowledge.
May his soul rest in the eternal peace
@georgetakei This is devastating news :( Sir Patrick was a stunning gentleman. Graceful, expressive, friendly. I grew up with him as Jean-Luc Picard in TNG. I am so sad today.
@georgetakei
Shatner outlasted Stewart? Holy.... 🤦♂️
“Open the pearly gates, sir?”
“Make it so!”
@georgetakei
RIP Captain. A figure of reason, thoughtfulness, fairness, strength, courage, compassion and gratitude. An aspirational figure. A tragic loss for humanity, not just Trekkies.
@georgetakei
Another legend. Rip 😢

Oct 29, 2026, 8:47 PM@georgetakei A wonderful Human left us...
@georgetakei
Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek
@georgetakei 💔 🖖 🙏
Oct 29, 2026, 8:49 PM@georgetakei a bad week for fans

@georgetakei #alt4you Sir Patrick Stewart photographed at the 84th Annual Peabody Awards at the University of Georgia, in dark horn-rimmed glasses, and a navy suit jacket with a light slub or stipple almost evoking stars on the night sky.
@georgetakei
:startrek: 👋 😔 Greetings to Heaven Dear Patrick Steward
@georgetakei 😢 That news hit hard....
@georgetakei please text me right now
@georgetakei this is a rough week 😭
@georgetakei I just heard about this a little while ago.
RIP Sir Patrick Stewart.
@georgetakei
There’s a new star in the heavens…
RIP 🖖 Captain 🫡
Please take care of yourself, Sulu!
@georgetakei nooo 🫣 so close after Walter Koenig… 🥺🖖RIP
Man, what a brutal double whammy of a week. Sorry for your losses. Hope you are doing ok.
Oct 29, 2026, 10:22 PM@georgetakei Rest in peace... :blobcatcry:
@georgetakei OMG! Death is completely missing the point! Only taking the best of men, and women, and leaving the scum to ruin everything!
Rest in peace Captain! You'll be missed! :floofCry:
Oct 29, 2026, 10:58 PM@georgetakei Thank you for your kind words. This has been a terrible few days for us fans of wonderful Star Trek actors. 😭 Quite shocked actually we just lost Patrick Stewart as well. For decades, he had seemed quite a bit more vital and younger than his actual age, almost as if he found a way to defy aging. Please George, stay strong & healthy. Please stay around. 🙏
@georgetakei Patrick Stewart passing hits me like Robin Williams and Catherine O’Hara passing. True gems of people.
