As well as my new cardigan, I'm wearing a new dress - just a plain long black dress made from a lightweight jersey. I feel like it would go really well with a flannel petticoat when it's colder temps than today. Might have to see if I can find something suitable.
@sheepnik Ok now I am confused. I learned a petticoat was one of those big tule skirts you put under your skirt in the fifties to make it widen. Or little girls wear them. Surely not that is meant here 🤔 (flannel??)

@helenclayton I was looking on Etsy for some, and found someone up in Mach who sells them. I might get one, just to see what it's like.
If you get a red flannel petticoat, you're one step away from tying it to a stick to warn trains about landslides...
