Blimey, I feel daft! Obvs I knew of Johnny Marr from The Smiths and most recently from an interview with the clearly starstruck Poet Laureate (in his shed).

But wait, his collaboration ‘Electronic ‘ with pal Bernard Sumner totally passed me by. Yes, I know (hangs head in shame).

Last night I listened to a programme with Johnny and Shaun Keaveny for BBC6 Music’s ‘Indie Forever’.

I think the Autumn days’ listening is decided…

Home Assistant... But Without Writing Automations Yourself?

Played our usual round of Walkabout Mini Golf just now and it's gone peculiar. For some reason it kept putting up beginner tutorial instructions (we've been playing it since it came out and have every DLC).

Then after we got back to the club house/shack I noticed that all of the lost balls, hundreds of them, we'd found over those years playing were gone.

I sincerely hope it's just a glitch and it hasn't actually lost all that progress!

I saw a beautiful big moon rising in the sky as I walked back this afternoon
Unfortunately, I can't say that I looks as beautiful in the pic as it did in reality.

Never been to BFW before?

If you're new to the kink scene or just to BFW, Lexi will be there all weekend and is happy to be an emotional support human.
The venue is wheelchair accessible with a lift to the upper floors and many of the crew are disabled and/or ND themselves. It is a very welcoming event and we support it with our whole hearts! It's also a great event for newbies.

You will need a ticket to attend: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/bfw-2026-nov-13-15-tickets-1976885361332 .

New to CiNK?

If you've not been to one of our events before and are not vetted, you're still welcome!
Come and hang out, meet some other disabled kinksters, and ask any questions you have about CiNK.

Why BFW?

We chose BFW because it's an accessible event focused on community and education. The organisers are passionate about accessibility and have done their very best to make all the events they run as accessible as possible, taking on feedback and always doing better each time.

This space is perfect for our first in person meet up as it honours all of the things that make CiNK what it is; a space for people to show up as they are and be accepted.

We're running our first ever in person meet up for CiNKsters at Birmingham Fetish Weekend's wind down.

From 6pm @alexisbushnell will be in the main space on the ground floor for chill chats with #disabled, crip, mad, chronically ill, #neurodivergent & sick #kinky folks. There will be no topic or pressure, just an opportunity to share physical space with people who get it, put faces to floating online meeting heads, and discuss anything that you fancy.

I talked to him a little bit more after he finished eating and he sat listening to me. 😀
Then I walked further I saw Little Lion.
"Hello Little Lion."
Little Lion shows as much interest in me as he always does 😆

I left for my afternoon walk only 20 minutes later than yesterday in case Sidney would be waiting
Walking along I see one cat sleeping under a parked car, one more cat under another car.
Then I see a small cute white face by his favourite spot for his snacks.
As I got closer, 'meow'.
"Aww Sidney, you waiting, aww"
"Meow."
"You know Sidney twice a year humans change the hour they wake up, do other things."
"Today is one of those days"
Meanwhile I talk Sidney happily eats his snacks. 😀

Last four films @letterboxd

The Misanthrope: not enjoyable enough to watch again

Sense and Sensibility: not as good as Pride and Prejudice

Shaun The Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom - a bit all over the place - poor for Aardman

Grease: I’d happily watch this several times a year!
