How do y’all keep symptoms, medications, etc in a format you can refer to?

In order to treat a chronic health thing I have, I need to go back through paper journals, sporadic food diaries, 2 different tracking app records, my calendar, and maybe any paper records I kept to try to piece together when things happened over the last 7 years. I think I’ll probably stick it in a spreadsheet to start with, but I’m curious how others keep, refer to, and share this kind of data with health professionals

@nirak Recently I tried to look up a medical procedure from less than 10 years ago. I went to my Google calendar, which I have used for decades. Got a message that events prior to 2023 may not be available. WHAT?!

@daliazygas I switched to Fastmail about a year and a half ago, but I have not checked to see how far back the calendar imported, I’ll have to check that today

@nirak I remember being truly amazed that I was able to import my Palm Pilot calendar into Google. That WAS decades ago. Seems like things worked better then...

@nirak If my doctor had a portal that integrated, I would probably set up sharing. Instead I just step through it with him at my appointments. And then I advocate to him again why he should invest in better patient portal software.
