"If you want someone to put meat in your bowl it's better to stand to the side so they can get to the bowl rather than right in front of the bowl (in the way) facing and criticizing the person who is kindly trying to fill it with delicious meats.

For example, when I go to a restaurant I don't stand in the door to the kitchen yelling at the waiters as they try to bring out the food. Because I would be "in the way" and then it would take longer to get the food. I also don't try to trip them."

@futurebird Mine like to walk in the way of every one of my foot steps as I try to move from the fridge to their bowls. They seem to think they will get their food faster if they trip me.

@futurebird This applies to many things. Don't call into your credit card company and start shouting down the employee for following procedure or criticizing their slowness.

Not all employees are super fast but they all are going as fast as possible because that's what they're trained to do. When you do you've probably just interrupted a process they need to talk to you to get through but now they need to stop that to first try and placate you.

Note, they are also allowed to hang up.

@futurebird also being in the kitchen snarking is a good way to ensure your food is, shall we say, not entirely pristine
