Sep 9, 2026, 6:40 PMI've been off work since Monday with a bacterial infection. I'm slowly recovering, but man is it rough. Camplyobacter, probably food borne. Not sure where I picked it up, nobody else around me had been affected.

Back in the day, when all cars had chrome-steel bumpers, coke was often used to remove the pesky little rust spots that would show up all the time.
When I was in 3rd grade (age 8) we did an experiment where dropped a recently fallen out tooth into a glass of coke. It immediately started fizzing and by the next day it was entirely gone. Good stuff.
