@jakobrosin It was already bad before that. Now it works maybe one out of every 10 times.

@BorrisInABox have you tried the thing where you can add a secondary appearance, but just add your own face again?

JamminJerryJamminJerry@mastodon.stickbear.meNov 6, 2026, 7:31 AM@BorrisInABox @jakobrosin for me personally face ID is actually better. it isn't looking at my cealing and saying try again. lol. every time I go to unlock my phone using the face ID, it has worked all the time, instead of around 80 percent of the time. *knock on wood*.

I like TouchID, but Apple removed FaceID from a $2000 phone, and will most likely re-introduce it in the next Duo. So if they wanted to respect users, they could add TouchID while keeping FaceID which I also like. They couldn't fit it, but wanted to release the handset to meet their deadline. @BorrisInABox @jakobrosin
