    @moonrabbit Ah yes, it is a rare combination. I too am indoors but very much on the eccentric fringes of sensible.

    @beandreams for husband, yes ha. but not too bad. it's in a pot and just needed some pruning such that it fits back in its winter corner again. i grew it from a supermarket lemon's seed, so it has a tendency to be ... not small.

    @raye :eariz_bun_wave:
    we've given ours a good pruning ... hopefully it'll settle in. (i grew it from a supermarket lemon's seed, so it would grow and grow if we let it. which would be fine but for that our house isn't that big!)

    @moonrabbit my super-gardening neighbor offered me one after she started a couple successfully from seeds. She'd had them outside all summer, and I got one the day she decided it was time to bring them inside. She pruned the roots a bit and repotted it right before she gave it to me. I grew bonsai years ago, so I understand how to help a plant adapt to a fixed pot size. I figured it would be an interesting experiment.

    @raye i hope it does well. our is in its 6th year now. it's never flowered, but it seems happy enough otherwise? the last two summers are the first it's gone out ... it seems to come in with its leaves on the less green side, but if this year is like last, it'll green up soon 🤞🍃

    how big is yours? our was taller than i am yesterday but is now at about chest height. it's finally branching out this year instead of just being one tall stem, so that's very nice to see.
