The drawings got way more intricate and I think the designs were much stronger as I progressed through the deck, so I'm not sure if I want to start by replicating my original rough cards. (This Ace of Wands was the first digital one I did.)

Maybe I should jump to the halfway point and then come back and re-do these so they're more like the rest? I'm not sure!

    These are AWESOME.

I know they are too small to print individually, and it got me wondering if all of them could be printed on a small poster.

@RussSharek Thank you! Yeah, I've had various thoughts about how to print these, like doing a booklet (I also wrote up meanings for each).

But I really like the idea of reproducing them traditionally so I've got this big stack of art. And then I can scan and print them as a real deck!

The physical materials are definitely a great way to go forward. I got caught up on the idea of doing something with the many bits of existing pixel drawing.

@RussSharek If I do a companion booklet that goes with these, it would be cool to include the original digital drawings in there. Maybe a whole "making of" section? I'm not sure how big booklets can be? Actually, I don't know anything about printing a deck and a tuck box and all that.

Most of the deck printing I've seen involves finding one of the game printing companies, and following their spec.

Now if you are printing them yourself, the imagination is the limit...

@ratfactor these are wonderful. Maybe go with your instinct with each card? If something about the original bothers you now is your chance to fix it. Either way, they'll be so different in a new medium.

Looking forward to seeing the new versions!

@ratfactor That is the way I might do a project like this.

(I often do go back and re-do early works to better fit with where I headed later on in a series, be it music or visual arts.)

@ovro Totally. I used to never revisit or re-do anything. I guess I just always wanted to go to the next shiny thing. But I'm much more open to doing my own past ideas justice now.
