The Big Island of Hawaii is bracing for Tropical Storm Lala tomorrow, which is expected to reach Hurricane strength overnight over the El Nino driven warm waters in the region. Winds of 75 mph are expected there by Saturday morning. Up to 25 inches of rain could fall on the Big Island.

Summer says that our whole no water debacle was worth it because of all the empty water bottles she can make noise with.
I told her that she better make hay with them now because I plan to re-home them tomorrow. They deserve to be recycled at the transfer station.
We will go back to being the no plastic water bottle family again.
Our well water seems to be plentiful and clean. I've yet to drink it though. Just a touch of trepidation even though I know it's filtered now.
I'm pretty tired after a no sleep night but today we all enjoyed hot showers, clean linens and I managed to get the kitchen and two bathrooms disinfected.
Today my husband started a new antibiotic that should get him past the infection from the well water bacteria.
I feel like we are more in control of the things we can control.
A good feeling for sure.
