“The malice of a true Christian attempting to destroy an opponent is something unique in the world. No other religion ever considered it necessary to destroy others because they did not share the same beliefs. At worst, another man's belief might inspire amusement or contempt - the Egyptians and their animal gods, for instance. Yet those who worshipped the Bull did not try to murder those who worshipped the Snake, or to convert them by force from Snake to Bull. No evil ever entered the world quite so vividly or on such a vast scale as Christianity did.”

~ Priscus, as written by Gore Vidal, in the historical fiction classic Julian.

Wait WTF is an NCM now? Is it in fact an LLM in a fake nose and glasses?

I don't know, this may be an unpopular take, but #trans people don't owe you an explanation on what we've done or are doing to transition. I remember, vividly, a friend asking me why I hadn't cut my hair to 'look like a girl' if I was a girl. Here's my answer:

#transgender, #nonbinary / #gnc folks don't even have to change anything physically about ourselves to be who we are. Most people do, but there's no set way to do this. Stop trying to force us to conform. #lgbtq #lgbtqia

🇮🇱🇺🇸🇮🇷 Netanyahu wants new strikes on Iran, but Trump opposes attacks before US elections, — FT

The Israeli military has prepared a multi-day bombing campaign for the weekend of October 10.

Among the planned targets were nuclear facilities, Iranian regime facilities and civilian infrastructure, including power plants. The operation did not take place - sources explain this by Trump's reluctance to renew the war before the midterm elections to Congress on November 3.

Trump's legacy will be environmental ruin on a global scale.
