I'm not sure people understand what happened in Texas. Texas took off its mask, Texas woke up, Texas is BLUE.
Talarico didn't squeek in. Democrat Talarico beat the Republican by TWELVE POINTS.
Governor elect Gina Hinojosa beat awful arrogant Abbot by more than seven points.
Astounding. Texas is Blue. Solidly.
@kevinrns And that is after all of the bonkers gerrymandering the bad people did to try to secure their elected positions.
Yes. I look forward to democracy embedding, protecting, expanding, ensuring.
Democracy is cool.
Texas Republicans tried to erase districts in just this way.
But Texas turned blue, they didn't win by a little. Talarico beat the republican by 12 points. Thats yikes huge.
@kevinrns Please don't forget Dems sweeping all Texas statewide elections INCLUDES four State Supreme Court seats.
Now that I know, the memory will join all the other joyous memories of the best midterms ever.
Hoorah
