Lots of improvements coming to #LibreOffice: clearer font substitution, a button in Calc to list sheets, better hyphenation support, and more. See our QA and dev summary for September: https://qa.blog.documentfoundation.org/2026/10/06/qa-dev-report-september-2026/ #foss #opensource #freesoftware
This is very exciting!
I copied a Google Gemini prompt's response to LibreOffice Writer.
My cursor got stuck inside a box, and I couldn't get it out.
After pressing the Tab button, it moved to the right side out of that box, but after pressing Enter, it went back inside the box. I couldn't move the cursor to my desired place on the page.
Is this a bug? Please try to fix it. Thank you.
@danish_akhtar7 Hi, if you think you've discovered a bug in LibreOffice, our QA community would appreciate a quick bug report at https://bugs.documentfoundation.org – Please provide details about your setup (LibreOffice version, operating system, steps to reproduce, and screenshot if relevant). Thanks!
It was the latest version of LibreOffice on Windows 10. Sorry, I don't have the screenshot.
