I wanted to take a screenshot in a VM today, and Windows presented me with this extremely awfully translated dialog – translated back to English (while staying as faithful to the wording used in Slovenian translation as possible), the text says:

Should Sniping tool, to at recording screenshots or recording screen turn off border of screen shot?
If you wish to change this later, open Settings app.
    [ Yes ] [ No ]

The dialog box described in the toot.

Transcription of the original text in the dialog box:

Ali Orodje za izrezovanje, da pri snemanju posnetkov zaslona ali snemanju zaslona izklopi obrobo posnetka zaslona?
Če želite to pozneje spremeniti, odprite aplikacijo Nastavitve
[ Da ] [ Ne ]

The dialog made absolutely no sense to me, and I went to the Settings app to try to figure out what this is about. I found the settings it was talking about, but it was basically gibberish, so I booted an English Windows 11 VM and went to the same Settings page, and … good luck figuring out what this is about:

Windows 11 Settings → Privacy & security → Screenshot borders

Screenshot border setting access
Anyone using this device can choose if their apps have access to settings for turning off screenshot borders when this is on
