For some reason slideshows on Mastodon now have a semi-operational horizontal scrollbar:

really tired of browser stderr going to journald so it's constantly full of absolutely useless crap like

JavaScript error: , line 0: uncaught exception: Object { message }

Client's server is being scrapped by LLM bots again, this time getting 9k requests per second:

The dialog made absolutely no sense to me, and I went to the Settings app to try to figure out what this is about. I found the settings it was talking about, but it was basically gibberish, so I booted an English Windows 11 VM and went to the same Settings page, and … good luck figuring out what this is about:

I wanted to take a screenshot in a VM today, and Windows presented me with this extremely awfully translated dialog – translated back to English (while staying as faithful to the wording used in Slovenian translation as possible), the text says:

Should Sniping tool, to at recording screenshots or recording screen turn off border of screen shot?
If you wish to change this later, open Settings app.

@jerry OK, might not be that post specifically – I was able to scroll past it a few times and back, and then it crashed in some other place. Problem also happens in single-column mode, except the error there is slightly different (but clicking "Go back home" shows the feed for a second, then returns to the error).

NotFoundError: Failed to execute 'insertBefore' on 'Node': The node before which the new node is to be inserted is not a child of this node.

@jerry Yup, as soon as this post of mine appears in the web interface, the UI crashes – can't seem to bypass it by pressing End on the keyboard either, though the first time it happened, I was scrolling up (and I saw Nina's post just fine before it crashed).

@jerry Might actually be something in my feed – I can 100% reproduce it by just scrolling down in the left column.

@jerry Here's the stack trace:

Seems to be quite easy to trigger, just scroll around a bit (and happens both in LibreWolf and Vivaldi, even if I disable add-ons).

@jerry Looks like there's something wrong with current version of mastodon/glitch – I keep getting this error:

Many relate to the Tachikoma because they too have a fat ass and the brain of a child.

RIP.

I love MegaRAID Storage Manager's UI, especially the part that shows drive operations:

DOOM TEXT GENERATOR —
