    Seems to be quite easy to trigger, just scroll around a bit (and happens both in LibreWolf and Vivaldi, even if I disable add-ons).

    @jerry Yup, as soon as this post of mine appears in the web interface, the UI crashes – can't seem to bypass it by pressing End on the keyboard either, though the first time it happened, I was scrolling up (and I saw Nina's post just fine before it crashed).

    @jerry OK, might not be that post specifically – I was able to scroll past it a few times and back, and then it crashed in some other place. Problem also happens in single-column mode, except the error there is slightly different (but clicking "Go back home" shows the feed for a second, then returns to the error).

    @jerry FWIW, I hadn't had this problem happen since.

    (there is still a minor problem when writing a message – the first word after @‌mention always triggers the @‌-completion drop-down, but that mostly just cosmetic)

    @jernej__s there are some known bugs with rendering messages with certain types of links. There was a new version of mastodon released this week that fixed a bunch of UI bugs and need to get that update applied. and it's friday, so that means it's time. maybe later tonight.
