After crossing Utah today, I'll be seeing a lot of views like this tomorrow on my 1500km (900mi) journey back to Reno for a final time. It's basin & range, basin & range, basin & range crossing Nevada east to west or vice versa. Each range is an island in a sea of sagebrush. Each has it's own character. Wonderful geology, geography, & ecology. And most people think it's an empty no person's land--& that's a good thing! 😂
