    @zackwhittaker

    Doesn't sound like a hack, especially when it says they were caught, sounds more like a multi-corp decision following diarrhea don's trickle down crypto theft.

    Crypto: “hidden, secret" - disappear -
    "1. a person having a secret allegiance to a political creed, especially communism"

    All the "blame hackers" are from within the company decision allowing them to steal legally. We all know the ad people are nefarious, just from the nature of ads and deception by corporations.

    @zackwhittaker In my case, I'm approaching senility and ads degrade my ability to find content to the vanishing point. So, add ADA compliance. Kidding/not kidding. 😬

    @shonin @zackwhittaker
    I'm kidding here but:
    I think ADA compliance generally requires that people with disabilities are able to enjoy things to a similar degree as people without a disability.

    But what if no one likes the thing to start with? 🙃

    @zackwhittaker This is exactly why I block ads by default. If an ad network serving 1.5 billion ads a day can get compromised, trusting every ad on the web is just asking for trouble.

    @zackwhittaker There's something like 4,000 to 10,00 are per person each day. Obviously they don't work - otherwise they wouldn't need so many.

    When was the last time I bought something from an online ad? Or a spam email? Never.

    Businesses buy shifty online ads because they see others doing it and think "it must be working or they wouldn't be doing it." Advertising ruins everything.
