@vlrny my partner bought two typewriters for other reasons, but i keep thinking: heyyy, if all electricity goes out, we will still be able to type in this house!
@skippingmoonrocks PRIORITIES! 😃
@vlrny @skippingmoonrocks this happened to me! i opened my portable 1954 underwood jewel & continued writing while everyone curiously watched me clack away
@vlrny Alas, the chances of a tree from a seed having as tasty of fruit as their parent is very slim. Might be better to learn propagation through cuttings.
@mikemccaffrey *climbs fence into orchard with clippers*
@vlrny Air layering usually has better results, so first climb the fence with some plastic wrap, dirt, and rooting hormone.
there's a faster path from 'things are fine' to 'I need to bank this fruit's seeds' than I expected.
@vlrny
Actually, that does not work usually (hybrids, gmo, etc..) You might get either nothing, or a plant with fruits smaller and not as tasty...
