    I'm so glad that I'm forced to take a subject called Professional Skills in Criminal Justice as a part of my degree.

    I'm enjoying being in an hour long lecture where the lecturer is defining the (bullshit) difference between a job and a career.

    I love that my first assessment for this subject is to make a 3 slide powerpoint that talks about who I am, what uni subject I can't wait to do, and what **career** (not job) I want when I leave uni.

    I don't resent paying thousands of dollars for this privilege at all. This is definitely not a BULLSHIT money spinner that my uni is engaging in so they can check some sort of nonsense "individual student workplace prep" box on a government website.

    @aby sounds very annoying. We had something similar, but it wasn't additional cost at least.

    I question the usefulness of these courses for anyone, but given half my class is 35+ and have been working for 15-20 years, it's fairly insulting.

    @keira_reckons - it's the same for mine. At least 80% of the students in this class are older adults who have worked in their industry for years and are just increasing their qualifications. The idea we need to have a class to learn how to write a professional email is a waste of time.
