    My little greasy-spoon restaurant has a switch of immense power just casually out in the open.

    The "STOP TIME" button on my mom's stove is still probably a bit more catastrophic, though.

    A light switch is labeled in marker "Summer" and "Winter". The switch is currently set to "Summer". It is a western-style toggle light switch on a metal surface junction box with metal conduit coming out the top. A second outlet box is to the left, but the image is cropped so that we can't tell what is in that box.The white switch and faceplate are both somewhat dirty. There's some suggestion of an invisible pink unicorn off to the side.
