    @ThoraiyaDyer I feel sorry for birds in winter, they always look so miserable. And yet there are plenty of dry sheltered places available anywhere people are. A mystery why they don't use them.

    @CaraBruar this guy was singing love songs, feeling no pain! I feel sorry for the female lyrebirds who come up out of the valleys, get preggers, then build the nest, lay the egg, and raise the chick all by themselves!

    @CaraBruar @ThoraiyaDyer often the nests are in sheltered overhangs, so at least there's that, but I think their feathers are pretty good at shedding the rain, and the layers help insulate them...
