Could you please explain how the Örebropartiet fascist, and how Mullvad appears to have done some "bad shit"?
Perhaps give your definition of fascism as well?

Besides, is indirectly threatening one of the world's largest and most recommended VPN and privacy companies truly the best way to keep the fediverse an open and respectful platform?

That’s honestly fairer criticism than simply saying "strict immigration = Nazi." If ÖP supports stripping citizenships or deporting people born in Sweden due to ethnicity or vague cultural belonging, I oppose that strongly. But I’d still separate ethnonationalist/authoritarian from "Nazi" unless there’s evidence of Nazi ideology specifically.

nice little rhetorical trick you pulled there, trying to shift the linguistic goalposts… 🙄 but we’re not stupid, we see the tricks

OP uses the words “…far-right Swedish Örebro party”

falcennial uses the words “we dont accept fascists on fediverse”

you reply with well-ackshually “questions” (“I’m just asking, bro, I’m totally not a fascist myself, bro”) about “how the Örebropartiet fascist” and “give your definition of fascism” 🙄

then you subsequently reply with “simply saying "strict immigration = Nazi."” and “But I’d still separate ethnonationalist/authoritarian from "Nazi" unless there’s evidence of Nazi ideology specifically.”

no-one before you used the word Nazi. you introduce it now to pretend that that’s what people have said, so that you can pretend to want to have a “reasonable conversation” about the definitions of words rather than engage in the actions or impacts of people, political parties, and companies

(this is a tactic commonly known as “bike-shedding”)

so you’re basically saying, “hey bro, don’t call them Nazis, bro, I’m more comfortable with authoritarian or ethnonationalist, bro – y’know, the words we use in public when we want to try to put a kinder, gentler face on fascism…” 🤢🤮

Fair enough. If this specific thread was only about “fascist” and “far-right,” I may have mixed it up with another thread where ÖP was called Nazi multiple times.

My main point still stands: if we use labels like fascist, Nazi, authoritarian, or ethnonationalist, I think it’s fair to ask which concrete policies or statements justify each label. I’m not defending ÖP’s policies; I’m asking for precision instead of collapsing every extreme position into the same word.
