There are moments when my brain just can't stop...
I feel like I need to acknowledge it's needs...
But often, I don't know what they are...
Or, I am not able to properly care for it, because of limitations here, or there...

The thing I usually do: write about it. Empty my thoughts in a blog post, in an email to a sweet friend, in a chat to friends, or... Here, on the Fedi...

I know many of my toots are long! 🫣 And I guess some may be boring as heck too! 😇

So, to those that read them, engage with them, engage with me: thank you! Because of your support, I feel better. I feel less lonely. I feel seen. I feel like I matter. And, when you're struggling with things like cptsd, pain, and depression... Those things really matter! You matter!

Koa, the handsome chocolate brown Labrador Retriever puppy, is captured from a high angle, sitting beautifully and politely right in the middle of the frame. Looking thoroughly soaked and spectacularly pleased with himself, his rich, dark coat is sleeked down from his water games, and the top of his head features a delightfully spiky, wet texture. He beams directly up at the camera with a joyful, open-mouthed smile, showing off his bright pink tongue and a hint of his little white chest patch. He sits confidently on the light gray patio pavers, which are covered in a chaotic, artistic canvas of dark, wet splashes and paw prints. To the left, the white door frame and a black doormat provide context, while the vibrant green artificial turf peeks into the upper right corner, framing a perfectly content puppy who has clearly mastered the art of backyard fun.
