If you need to know, I can tell you what urgent cares are open in a 25 mile radius of Storrs CT, US that can do a camp physical for your kid, today, the day before camp, on a national holiday, if you managed not to get that done in the five months since we sent out the first email about camp.

@moonrabbit oh its an ever changing roster. We had a new scout join the troop yesterday and want to go to camp tomorrow. I think we are going to pull that off, but whew, that’s a choice!

@somcak to be fair, no one actually needed to do this, but we had two families persistantly not responding to increasingly urgent messages on all channels and I actually wrote the “I’m sorry your scout will not be able to attend camp with the troop tomorrow, here are your options” email and was about to send it, when we heard from both and walked them through the last steps.
I should make them in charge of troop health forms next year as penance, but we all need grace sometines.
@IcooIey I'm laughing, rolling my eyes and also appreciating the grace you gave to those families. I know how it feels letting things go through the cracks. Sometimes things get too complicated.
