Kind of amazing the way people can just shrug off stuff that used to almost never happen in our lifetimes. (It especially shocks me seeing people who are older than me do it. They've seen things change even more, yet are so much less aware...)

In the Netherlands the usual suspects go on about how people love these temperatures when they go on vacation in Spain, so this is normal heat and people are just being hysterical about nothing ...... completely ignoring that the warm vacation destinations have low humidity, buildings designed for heat, there's AC everywhere, and a local lifestyle which accomodates the heat.
They're only going to learn the hard way.
