You know that thing when you forget the password for the scanner, but you're fairly sure you roughly know it? Then over several days, you try all kinds of combinations none of which work, and you can't reset it without all the settings going too. Then idly try repeating the password and weirdly eventually you hit on it, and you're in?
Then discover that you know yourself, and had written the password in pencil underneath the device....
