    When we buy "Made in China" (or "Made in PRC"), we support a country which happily funds Putin's war against Ukraine by importing Putin's oil, and simultaneously exports the fiber optic cables, chips, and drone parts used by Russia to kill Ukrainian soldiers and civilians.

    Boycott China. End the war.

    @randahl When we buy "Made in America", we support a country which happily funds Netanyahu's ethnical cleansing of Palestine with funding, intelligence, weapons, uniforms , chips, and drone parts. No to talk about their little adventures, starving and killing people on Cuba, in Iran and in wonderfull parts of south america.

    When we buy "Made in Denmark", we support a country which hapilly sells weapon parts, hardware and software for survaillence and bomb targeting civilians and Denmarks largest shipping companies happily freights it to Israel.

    @flywheel @randahl

    When we buy "Made in China", we support a country which happily funds Putin's war just enough to run it, but not enough to win it, to slowly kill Russia by attrition.

    As long as this war is continuing, China could at any given moment decide, that Siberia is, in fact, China - and there is nothing Putin could do about it. They're probably already drawing lines on maps and try to decide, which one looks the coolest.

    @randahl Another reason not to buy from and thus support the PRC: The Party uses their economic power to gain supremacy and both financial and political influence in our societies - a strategy they are following all over the world to weaken their political adversaries.

    Fair enough though, it started with Western capital to swallow the trade lure of a cheap Asian workbench.

    Supporting the PRC is against our interests. So important we regain independence from this evil actor.

    @randahl rather hard to boycott all these so many countries indeed (USA, PRC, Russia, Israël, etc...), maybe it's time to go living in a (fresh 🙂) cave in hunter-gatherer life style now.

    @randahl i 100% agree, but we also need a transparency in procurement from company.

    Because too much company in EU will, buy from china and resell to you with a premium, so simply "avoid china" will ne suffice in this case.

    @randahl I thought about buying a banjo from China but 'this'. The alternative was Trumpland and that felt as bad. I don't want to support any authoritarian dictatorships but that's getting harder to achieve.
