...i distinctly recall being a teenager and seeing this on the rack in the school library. My friends and I all thought about and discussed at the time what it might be like for that infant when they eventually grow up, etc.
@deviantollam On one hand, I read this as highlighting how stupid it is that we demonise queer people. Look at this baby and tell me they're a sinner bound for hell or that they should have their rights forfeited.
On the other hand, it was 35 years ago and the actual article may not have aged as well.
I don't know without spending an extra 30ish minutes (I assume) looking up this exact article and reading it to completion if I actually find it just to reply to this when I could just as easily share my concerns and report back if I'm wrong. (or be told I'm wrong before I even do that.)

@notsle @deviantollam Reading this technically took longer than my estimate mostly because I had to stop to do other things. Christ, they don't write 'em like they used to.
This almost reads like something that could've been written today. Maybe swap "gay" for "trans" and write the bits about loving men about treating dysphoria in secret, but that's mostly because acceptance of gay people has only very recently backslid to where it was before Obegefell. (according to a recent poll I came across I can try to find again if need be. When I say recent, I mean ~3 months ago or less.)
