Hey Irish Government who want to focus on Nuclear and getting some from France instead of investing in renewables, take note! This is only the beginning, this will be a yearly occurrence.
Jun 26, 2026, 11:21 AM@dalekmad oh don’t worry, pausing nuclear reactors due to high temperatures is already a yearly occurrence… and while the French state sponsored nuclear power it didn’t develop solar or wind in any relevant capacity so we’re stuck burning gas. Who could have predicted‽

@paco I would love to see that in Ireland. We've such a way to come with solar.
