@ginabythebay I also use Hetzner for other services. The UI is overly complicated, but they’re stable and reasonably priced.
May 4, 2026, 10:19 AM@ginabythebay I use hetzner and contabo: the former just works, unless you are hosting contents that is even vaguely potentially borderline problematic according to the moral standard of card payment providers and similar bigots, because in that case their policy is to block first, ask questions never.
the latter can be somewhat cheaper, but also doesn't have the same uptime, and you need to migrate your server between offerings now and then, to avoid the price from increasing.
I've heard good things about infomaniak, but I haven't tried them personally yet; they are in Switzerland, so I don't know whether that can add payment complications (the website shows prices in EUR to me, however).
