I am continually having to remind people that CNC probe tips are consumables, largely standardized, and relatively cheap if you don’t need stupid levels of accuracy. Don’t freak out when one bends. Just spend $5 and replace it.

@petrillic that’s me with network cables. They’re consumables. If the retention clip breaks on either end, or if the link is marginal, then chuck it and spend $10 on a mass-produced new one.
