Alright, I sunk the post in Quickcrete yesterday afternoon, let it cure all evening and overnight. That is about 15 hours longer than Quikcrete claims to need.

Post is solid in the ground now, so I attached the new mailbox this morning.

And here is my prediction: NW Ohio will have a metric shit-ton of snow this winter. Because every single time I have repaired or replaced my mailbox over the last two decades, a snowplow has come along after a particularly nasty snowfall and taken it out.

If I ever become rich, I will tell no one, but there will be signs. One of those signs will be a mailbox made entirely out of brick. With a sign that reads, "Knock this over, plow boy!"

So that took not even 1/4 of a 50 lbs bag of Quikcrete. Now I wanna use the rest on something, but what?
