    OK so I am thinking this whole situation might have been the TV's fault - nothing to do with Ubi at all. I am still fucking furious that downgrade (something it offers thru the web i/face) fucked the U6+ totally, though.

    Curiously the thing that (seems) to have stopped the TV repeatedly disconnecting wifi was not giving it IPv6 addresses. My working theory is it is doing some check to see if it has connectivity, finding something problematic with IPv6 (incorrectly) then breaking the rest of connectivity briefly and reporting such.

    Most annoying.

    @bloor

    My Samsung TV is being a pain at the moment, both on WiFI and LAN. Works for hours then suddenly starts buffering.

    The firmware on this model is absolute rubbish 🙁

    @bloor SLAAC address lifetimes have been known to go horribly wrong with certain combinations of routers + client devices.

    @bloor your posts have pretty much guaranteed that I will never risk downgrading firmware on any of my UBNT gear unless I have literally no other choice.

    @mansr I highly doubt it - it is miles out of warranty and I did a firmware downgrade so…

    @bloor Downgrade or upgrade shouldn't matter in my opinion. If the device accepts the image when offered using normal methods, it should at least work well enough to update the firmware again.

    @bloor I am trying running our TV off of a cable. It really doesn’t get along with our Vodaphone kit. 😡

    @bloor well, the TV works fine. My iPad Pro and the aircon not so much. Not going to cable that! So if not replacing Vodaphone kit with UniFi, then what? 🤷‍♂️
