Nov 4, 2026, 2:20 PM@imrehg More annoying is that even after swapping in the spare (which to be fair the UBNT ecosystem seems to make fairly easy) the original problem (tv seeming to keep disconnecting from wifi) is still there, even with a massively older firmware on the AP. So ULTIFAIL. Made things worse over all.
Nov 4, 2026, 2:23 PM@imrehg complicating this is that i'm unsure when the problem started. and Both the TV and the AP have had firmware upgrades at some point possibly around the point where the issues started occurring .

Since it's TV that's disconnecting, I wouldn't hold their netwrork hardware quality to much as an example... Might be something to trace there? 🤔
Still it can be crap on both sides (it never rains but it pours).
Maybe I give them too much benefit of the doubt, just coming from experience that APs could be fixed and bugs debugged when I stopped fuming. Then after the fix resumed :)
