I can’t believe that “Ötzi” hasn’t become a generic metaphor for something that you find far beyond its use-by date in the freezer.
“I went looking for my Tupperware and found it in the freezer. It had Chicken Ötzi and rice in it. I haven’t cooked that since July.

@futzle i laughed so hard at this whole interaction i literally had to put my phone down. 😂 then when i picked it back up after i thought i'd calmed down, my brain imagined a twitch streamer/youtuber named vargskelethor (aka vinesauce joel) saying both of these posts that i had to put it back down because i was laughing too hard.GOOD SHIT!!!!!!!! :3

Most people would just call that
"tonight's dinner" without needing to give it a special name.Although I can imagine:
"what's for dinner?"
"Chicken Ötzi"
"You mean that deep frozen mystery meal you found at the back of the freezer?"I guess it amounts to the same thing in the end ...
