Why is secure email so complicated?
All I want is to have one app that can fetch all my emails and calendar invites. I self host a Nextcloud server. I am struggling to understand why Proton and Tuta don't offer easy ways to sync those with a mail app be it Nextcloud or Thunderbird.
Do I really need to go to fastmail or mailbox.org to have a service that supports IMAP? Any email provider recommendation that is not gmail and that would sync with Nextcloud?
