Oct 24, 2026, 7:52 PM@edebill my cat had a girl(?)friend back in SF, who would come and meow until he came to the window so they could stare at each other. When he was allowed on the back porch (before the escaping), he'd be super shy at first but clearly want to come hang out with her, and if I left them alone long enough she'd bust him out of cat-jail (attempted catio) and he'd come back 4-8 hours later.

@iris Awww. That is so sweet.
Kirk and Flora are both our cats. Usually he just ignores her if he’s out for a walk. They’re not affectionate normally.
