@TheNovemberMan Lately I am using the Vallejo Metal Air paints, which I really like as they are water based (so no killer fumes) and there is no visible metal flake like there is in the Tamiya Aluminum. (The yellow rim bottle is the “new” release version.)

One of my favorite times at #Area51 is when the swallows show up. Usually at dusk, but apparently midday too. In the video you can hear car noise on the road, but barn swallows, grey cat birds, a common yellow throat, song sparrow and maybe goldfinches. Really need to get a bee/wasp person out here, too and a lepidopterist.

I have decided that my favorite place in Stockholm is Waldemarsudde. It's the former mansion of Prince Eugen (1865-1947) who quit military school to pursue a passion of art and gardening. He was a patron to artists, held liberal views, and remained a lifelong (probably queer) bachelor. He left his estate to the state to become a museum. They have a stunning exhibit of flowers in art and in the prince's own garden. Lovely, lovely place.
