Hi @ricci,
why? Have you trusted the #TLS CAs before? All of them? Why? Relied on PHP that hasn't cared to properly implement basic internet standards before? I have no clue of PHP, what I happened to see 2015 https://blog.mro.name/2015/03/why-php-is-utterly-broken/ set low expectations.
I see fallacies failing. It's about time.
P.S.: However, I do pity the admins, that got caught by surprise. I hope they get paid well.
